LINKED- Autism Safety Project
LINKED – Autism Safety Project is a dynamic community partnership with local municipalities designed to build stronger, more supportive connections between first responders and members of the disability community. By fostering understanding, communication, and trust, LINKED helps ensure that individuals with disabilities and their families feel safe and supported in emergency and everyday situations.
The project provides a comprehensive range of resources for families and first responders, including accredited training and educational programs tailored to meet the unique needs of municipalities. Through workshops for parents and community-based activities, participants have opportunities to engage in meaningful, positive interactions that break down barriers, encourage inclusion, and build confidence for everyone involved.
By bridging the gap between first responders and the disability community, LINKED empowers both groups to collaborate effectively, creating safer, more inclusive communities where all individuals can thrive.
Community connections
We provide community-based events designed for individuals with disabilities and their families. Every event includes sensory accommodations to ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment. Our programming not only offers opportunities for fun and creativity but also incorporates educational components for participants, families, and the wider community.

Embrace Adaptive Dance
Embrace Adaptive Dance is a cornerstone of our programming, providing recreational and inclusive dance classes for individuals within the disability community. These classes go beyond just movement—they offer a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where participants can explore their creativity, build confidence, and experience the joy of self-expression.
Adaptive dance is important because it provides opportunities for individuals of all abilities to engage in physical activity, develop motor skills, and improve coordination in a way that is tailored to their unique needs. It fosters social connection, teamwork, and a sense of belonging, while also nurturing emotional well-being through creative expression. Participants are encouraged to explore their own style, experiment with movement, and express themselves freely, helping to break down barriers and challenge societal stereotypes about disability.
Through Embrace Adaptive Dance, we aim to create a community where everyone can experience the physical, emotional, and social benefits of dance—while celebrating ability, creativity, and individuality.
